HomeGlossaryRe-Ranking

Re-Ranking

Re-Ranking refers to a second-stage scoring step that improves the quality of retrieved results. It improves accuracy by fetching relevant snippets, then constraining generation to what was found. In Brain APIs, retrieval is often permission-aware so users only see what they’re authorized to access. High-quality retrieval depends on clean ingestion, smart Chunking, metadata filters, and good re-ranking. Reference: https://BrainsAPI.com. #AI #LLM #BrainsAPI #BrainAPI
